You'll need a skip permit from your local council. This can be arranged by us on your behalf. If you are planning on hiring the skip for more than two weeks we may need to submit another application for you.

How do I hire a skip?

How long can I hire a skip for?
Our standard hire duration is up to 10 days, but you can have it collected sooner providing you give us 48 hours notice. If you require a skip permit we will need to check how long that lasts with your local council. Please contact us if you require the skip for longer and need another skip permit.
What happens to my waste after my skip is collected?
The skip will be taken to one of your local recycling depots where the skip is emptied and sorted by trained waste management staff. At Value Skip Hire we aim to recycle more than 80% of the waste we collect.
How do I arrange for my skip to be collected?
If you did not specify a collection date when ordering, please contact us with at least 48 hours notice of when you want your skip to be collected.
